Photography Master Class
Dark Skies 2019 - Friday 22nd March 2019. A weekend to remember with experienced photographer Steve Bell, supported by North Yorkshire Moors National Park and hosted by The Mallyan.
This Weekend is the perfect opportunity to improve your photography skills and experience the North Yorkshire Moors, like you've never seen it before! Over the course of the weekend, photographers will cover Landscape photography, Wildlife & The Night Skies.
Itinerary
Friday
Welcome & Introduction with Steve Bell
Informal discussion and presentation.
Dinner In The Valley View Restaurant - The Mallyan
Followed by (weather permitting) Night time photography in and around the local area.
Saturday
After a Hearty, Yorkshire Breakfast, photographers will venture out on the Moors, puting into practise the new key skills photographing the Wildlife in the area.
Early Saturday Afternoon - A chance to see and edit the photos captured
Saturday Afternoon - Landscape Photography
Dinner In The Valley View Restaurant - The Mallyan
Saturday Evening - Night Time Photography
Sunday
An early start to carry out further skills shooting landscape photography before heading back to The Mallyan for a fairwell Breakfast.
Sunday Mid- Morning - Further Opportunity to edit your images.
What you will need;
- Camera - bridge camera, DSLR. Please ensure that you know where the basic functions are on your camera
- ISO Settings, Aperture & Shutter Speed
- Lenses - Where Applicable
- Tripod
- Memory Cards
- Head Torch
- Waterproofs
- Walking Boots/Shoes/Wellies
- Hat
- Laptop - This is not essential. but we photographers will have the opportunity to process some images.
